Department
Asian Art
Asian art is the largest collecting field in the Bay Area, and the heart of our sales. We handle Chinese ceramics from early wares to imperial porcelain, jade and hardstone carvings, bronzes, Buddhist sculpture, snuff bottles and the objects of the scholar's desk. Every object is examined in hand, and anything we cannot settle is stated plainly in the catalogue.
